Zlinx Wireless I/O modules monitor and control analog, digital and RTD temperature devices remotely. The wireless I/O modules<br />
are available in base I/O and modular expansion I/O configurations. Base I/O modules have built-in radio with limited I/O<br />
combination. Expansion modules have different I/Os types and combinations for cost-effective system integration. Up to 6 expansion<br />
modules can be added to a base I/O module.<br />

Digital Inputs (DI) 0-48 VDC NPN (sinking)<br />
The Zlinx I/O system (base + expansion modules) can be configured<br />
in 2 ways:<br />
1 Peer-to-Peer (P2P) I/O cable replacement: Two identical wireless<br />
I/O systems of same frequency and I/O count can be configured as a<br />
wire replacement, Peer-to-Peer system. Analog and digital input<br />
count in one system must equal to the analog and digital output<br />
count in the other. One system must be configured as a P2P Master<br />
and the other as a P2P slave. It does not matter which system is<br />
configured as master. The inputs at one end are wirelessly mapped to<br />
the corresponding outputs at the other end.<br />
Typical applications: Wireless control of remote analog and digital<br />
devices from a PLC/SCADA I/O. Refer to the “Remote Pump Station<br />
Control” example application diagram on page 81.<br />
2 Modbus I/O: Analog, digital and temperature I/Os from up to 247<br />
I/O systems can be wirelessly connected to a Modbus RTU master<br />
such as a PLC or SCADA or an HMI through a Serial Radio Modem.<br />
Point-to-Multi-point configurations are possible.<br />
Typical applications: Remote wireless control of remote analog and<br />
digital devices from a PLC/SCADA I/O. Refer to the ‘Remote<br />
Material Handling Systems’ example application diagram on pages 81.<br />
