Models 4WSD9OTB and 4WSD25OTB are top-of-the-line RS-232 to<br />

RS-422 and RS-485 converters featuring both 2,000 V isolation and surge<br />

protection. Removable terminal blocks on the RS-422/485 side make<br />

installation easy. Power is provided through a 10-48 VDC input on the<br />

terminal block, making these converters perfect for applications where<br />

48 VDC is common.<br />

Model 485OI9TB is an isolated RS-232 to RS-422 and RS-485 converter.<br />

RS-232 side draws power from handshake lines of the connected PC.<br />

Model 485OP optically isolates and protects devices and repeats<br />

signals extending ranges of RS-422/485 data lines another 4,000<br />

feet (1,200 m). It allows more than 32 nodes on RS-485 circuits and<br />

can join 4-wire RS-422 with 2-wire RS-485 systems – no need for<br />

another converter. Model 232SPHI4 has 4000 volts of isolation<br />

(twice the rating of most isolators) to protect RS-232 equipment<br />

from lightning strikes, accidental high voltage shorts and ground<br />

loops. Conforms to EN60601 specification for industrial, hospital,<br />

and medical applications. Model 9SPOP2 is a port powered, twochannel<br />

isolator with 2500 V protection. Model 9POP4 offers 4<br />

channels of isolation and requires a single external 12 VDC power<br />

supply to power both sides, ideal for the low powered ports on<br />

laptops and newer PCs.<br />
