Expansion cards add connectivity options and versatility
Vlinx ConnectPro’s Expansion Cards are easily installed by removing the blank expansion port cover and plugging in a card.
Configuration is simple with free Vlinx ConnectPro software.

cellular modem capability. GSM/GPRS is today’s most
prevalent cellular technology, used for Wireless
Application Protocol (WAP) access, Short Message Service
(SMS), email and internet access. Quad-band card works
in frequencies across the Americas, Europe and Asia. (US
and Canada, 850/1900 MHz bands; Europe, Middle East,
Africa, most of Asia, 900/1800 MHz GSM/GPRS
frequencies.) Requires SIM (“Subscriber Identity Module”)

Vlinx VFG9000-SERIAL expansion card
adds a serial port providing high-speed
RS-232, RS-422 and RS-485, and DH485
communication options. Format and baud
rates for each port are individually software
programmable up to 115,200 baud. RS-
422/485, DH485 (RJ45) port and RS-232
(RJ12) port share the same hardware. The
card multiplexes the ports to communicate
via two protocols. Format and baud rates
are software programmable up to 500K
baud and digitally isolated.
