The CLA is a user-led charity run by care leavers for care leavers. Their aim is to bring<br />
together the voices of care leavers of all ages so that they improve the current care<br />
system, improve the quality of life of care leavers throughout their lives and change for<br />
the better society’s perception of people who have been in care as children. They have<br />
the following volunteering opportunities available:<br />

The CLA have a wide range of projects volunteers can help with looking at issues<br />
faced by black and minority ethnic young people in care.<br />
In return for volunteers' donation of their time, the CLA provides out of pocket<br />
expenses, such as travel costs. They can also provide references for the volunteers,<br />
which can be useful for future employment.<br />
