After dehydriding by the sample, the same procedure was repeated by using 50% (v/v)
H 2 :He.
For the reaction of the samples with H 2 , the pressure profiles were plotted (Figure
33). The reactions were complete within 10 minutes; much like the reaction of LaNi 5
with H 2 analyzed using the DSC. The hydrogen capacities of the samples given in Table
6 indicate the percent hydrogen absorbed by the LaNi 5 was also in accordance with the
results obtained from DSC analysis, which were given in Table 1.
