Easter at Thoresby Hall<br />
Come and join us as we visit the wonderful adult only Warners venue of<br />
Thoresby Hall. Thoresby is 35 minutes north of Nottingham and is set on a<br />
slope overlooking a stunning Capability Brown view on the edge of the<br />
ancient and spellbinding Sherwood Forest.<br />

Day 1 After our local pick-ups we travel<br />
to Thoresby Hall via Newark on the River<br />
Trent, which boasts an imposing 12th Century<br />
castle, two museums and one of the finest<br />
Georgian market squares in Britain. After<br />
lunch we continue our journey to our Warner’s<br />
hotel near Nottingham with time to relax<br />
before dinner.<br />
Day 2 Today we make our way to spectacular<br />
Hardwick Hall, built by Bess of Hardwick,<br />
Countess of Shrewsbury. The hall has survived<br />
virtually unchanged and houses some of<br />
the finest 16th and 17th century embroideries<br />
and tapestries. You can also enjoy circular<br />
walks around the surrounding parkland<br />
with magnificent views. The hall also played<br />
the part of Malfoy Manor in Harry Potter and<br />
the Deathly Hallows Part 1. After our visit<br />
we head back to our hotel for dinner and<br />
entertainment.<br />
Day 3 After a leisurely breakfast we depart for<br />
an Easter Sunday scenic drive. We make<br />
suitable stops along the way and there are<br />
some Easter treats in store as well. We return<br />
with time to relax at our hotel before dinner<br />
and our evening of entertainment.<br />
Day 4 Today we say good-bye to Warners<br />
and we head home. We have a mystery stop<br />
en-route before we get back to our local area.<br />
