Victoria: The Tours
From the spring of 2016, the live, working TV set located within the Harewood
Estate in Leeds, that has played witness to many-a spectacle, will open its
gates as cast and crew down scripts for the weekend and allow you to tread
the tarmac and indulge in a fully guided tour of the popular, fictional village.
You will be able to marvel at the beauty the picturesque farming village boasts
as they meander down the lane to the surreal sight of stone cladded shops
and homes nestled amongst the rolling hills. Sauntering past the familiar
haunts of Home Farm, Bob’s Café, The Woolpack and the village Church.
Day 1 After our local pick ups we have a lunch
stop in the market town of Newark on the River
Trent after lunch we then continue to our hotel.
Day 2 This morning we travel to Harewood
House for a guided tour of the house.
Harewood House was recently used as a major
set for ITV’s Victoria series. The crew filmed
across Yorkshire for several months during
winter 2015/16. Harewood was fortunate
enough to be one of their key locations. To
celebrate the success of the programme, the
opulent rooms on Harewood’s State Floor
will come to life with costumes from the
programme. Outfits worn by Jenna Coleman
who plays Queen Victoria will be displayed
throughout the 2017 season. Alongside the
costumes, the exhibition will present a behind
the scenes look at filming in a grand House like
Harewood. Learn how the team prepare and
manage the house and discover how rooms
are transformed into sets. After lunch we travel
the very short distance to Harewood Estate for
our guided tour of Emmerdale.
Day 3 After breakfast we depart our hotel and
start our journey home. On our way home we
have a stop in Melton Mowbray to allow you
to purchase lunch and have a stroll around
before we continue our journey home.

Bristol Balloon Fiesta
The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta
is Europe’s largest annual meeting of
hot air balloons, attracting over 150
Hot Air Balloons from across the
globe. The Fiesta truly is a sight that
can only be seen in Bristol. Held over
four days in August at Ashton Court
Estate, Alongside the fantastic site of
hot air balloons filling the skies.
Day 1 After our local pick-ups we make our
way to Bath for time for you to get some lunch
and do some sightseeing.
Day 2 After breakfast, we will make our
way to Bristol city centre where you can spend
time at leisure exploring. In the afternoon we
enjoy a Cream tea whilst we have a two-hour
harbor cruise on board the Bagheera.
Day 3 Today we spend the day at the Bristol
International Balloon Fiesta.
Day 4 We depart our hotel after breakfast and
head back to Essex. On our journey home we
will have a lunch stop in Windsor.
