So, the countdown<br />
begins towards your<br />
very special day,<br />
marrying the partner<br />
you love and solidifying<br />
your relationship<br />
together...<br />
Many have dreamed of their<br />
wedding day since they were<br />
little, some may have only started<br />
thinking about it once they have<br />
meet that special person, either<br />
way your wedding day will be at the<br />
forefront of your plans and day to<br />
day decision making for<br />
the foreseeable.<br />
So, what do you do now?<br />
Firstly, think about how long you want your engagement to be?<br />
The average engagement is around 18 months nowadays.<br />
Then chat with your partner and family about what your ideal<br />
day looks like.<br />
Then consider the following;<br />
• Season/Time of year<br />
• Location – immediate area/local, in the UK, or abroad<br />
• Size - Intimate or larger affair<br />
• What type of ceremony – religious, civil or humanist<br />
• Your main priorities<br />
• Budget<br />
• Who you would like to help you plan<br />
• Your wedding party, Bridesmaids, Best man, Ushers etc<br />
• Will you need a hired wedding planner or coordinator on the<br />
day<br />
• Any particular dates that are ideal or special too you<br />
• Theme, colour scheme, style and inspirations<br />
