PLAITS...
The most prominent hairstyle shown this runway
season was undoubtedly plaits. From Paris to New
York – numerous runway shows were showcasing
plaited locks with both casual and evening looks.
For a carefree, dressed-down style, tie mini plaits in
sections of your hair and accessorise them with beads
or hair rings. For a more glamorous look, French plait
both sides of your head down to the nape of your
neck. Attach both plaits together once there and
braid down to the end of your hair so it finishes as
one. Complete with a jewelled hair tie or a ribbon.
TEXTURED CURLS...
Curls, perms, crimps and waves were everywhere on
the SS’17 runways. Achieve the curls you desire by
using different electronic hair products. For small,
tight curls, a thin curling wand is best. For soft, larger
waves, a barrel waver or heated ceramic rollers will
work better.

RIBBONS...
Accessorize your way into next season by ditching
normal hair ties and opting for pretty ribbons instead.
Tie around the head and fasten to create a cute Aliceband,
or belt around the base of a slick, low ponytail
for effortless on-the-go style.
GLITTER LIPS...
One look that got everybody talking this fashion
week was the glitter lips that were featured on the
Milan catwalks. These look amazing at parties and
will be sure to get you tons of compliments. Achieve
this look easily at home by applying a bold, glossy lip
colour onto the lips (you can use your favourite tinted
gloss or a high-shine lipstick). Then, when the lips are
still wet, dab a face glitter (in a similar shade to the
lipstick) onto the lips using a cotton bud.
