The Parkland Juniorettes have partnered with the Parkland Library to help students that are struggling with reading. The Parkland Juniorettes are high school girls dedicated to making a difference. She moved to Broward County with her family in 1972. Diane has called Coral Springs her home since 1987. She has always been interested in Art, taking electives in school. After many years of crafting as a Girl Scout Leader, she began painting in 2007. Today, in her spare time, Diane paints for fun. She started painting in oil at the Coral Springs Community School under the direction of Bill Hargreaves. She has painted landscapes, portraits, animals, and seascapes. Parents and children ages 5 and older will enjoy making a sock snowman together. a LooK inside the redesigned sat Wednesday, <strong>January</strong> 13th, 6:30pm This interactive talk for parents and students is to demystify the Redesigned SAT. For several months, the Mindworks Prep team has been hard at work deconstructing the revised SAT in order to adjust their training and materials. They’ve scrubbed the test thoroughly, assessing the concepts covered, the frequency with which those concepts appear, and the difficulty levels of the questions. Mindworks Prep is eager to share their insights and conclusions with you to guide you through the Redesigned SAT journey. mah Jongg for beginners Friday, <strong>January</strong> 15th, 1pm In five sessions you will learn the basics of this challenging game. The instructor, Jill Vogel, is a Mah Jongg aficionado and will share both her knowledge and love of the game with you.
