2015 Theme: Drinking from
the source
Throughout last year the gospel continued to sound
forth and shape the people of Kajiado. Despite the
poor road infrastructure, sparse populations, long
walking distances for members to the church and
cultural and traditional barriers.
We thank the Lord for His continued strength, grace,
mercy and love upon us as we ministered to Him and
His people under the Church theme: “Drinking from
the source,” (Genesis 26:18).
Missions and Outreach
In March we held three days crusade, Jesus films as
well as one on one outreaches in partnership with
two other churches in two different locations: Birika
and Sholinke. 68 people came to the Lord. We also
organized a medical camp that attracted 504 people
from the community who came for treatment in two
days. We also reached out to 3 schools around
namely: Isinya Moi Girls, Olorien Boys School and
Dawamu Boys School where we did discipleship.
Children’s & Youth Ministry
The children and youth discipleship continued well
throughout the year. During the DVBS on the first
day we registered the highest attendance of 1,200
children ever. The numbers increased up to 1,300
with 65 workers and volunteers who came to help.
Our highlight was on children who missed a snack
in fasting after a lesson on the same and gave after
the teaching on giving. We also had a children’s
prayer day with about 400 children in attendance.
The children ministry culminated with a baptism of 34
children who successfully completed the enter stage
of the Safari discipleship manual.
The youth were actively involved in worship
every third Sunday of the month. They also
organized 3 Keshas and also had an
outreach to the neighborhood were
several souls got saved. Fellowship
and discipleship programs also
continued throughout the
