CITAM BURUBURU PRIMARY SCHOOL REPORT
• Community: We participated in two walks in
our community involvement. We had a Run for
Bibleless and Mater Heart run where the parents,
teachers and pupils participated overwhelmingly.
This made an impact to the community and we
were officially recognized by the two organizations
for a job well done
Infrastructure
Students’ council Elections 2015
was a positive deviation of +27.75 in comparison to
2014. We strive to attain a mean score of 384.00 in
KCPE 2016. With prayers and hard work we shall
achieve it.
Co-curricular Activities
In line with our motto of educating a whole person,
our pupils excelled in co-curricular activities that had
been outlined for the year.
• In drama, the dance “Anti Vitamins” was
unstoppable. We were crowned champions in all
the levels of competition as from Zonal, Districts,
and Regionals all the way to the nationals. The
dance won in various other categories as “best
choreographed dance”, “best production” and
the “best soloist” at the nationals we simply
out did all the other competitors and that is an
indicator that we are a school to reckon with.
• In Tae Kwondo, the school team participated in
the annual tournament held at The Banda School.
The team won a total of 35 medals thus leaving
our competitors to be mere spectators. This
brought out our prowess in the game.
The massive projects that the Buruburu campus
initiated have all come to completion:
• Perimeter wall: The entire Buruburu campus has
a perimeter wall that runs all-round the campus.
This has enhanced the security situation in the
compound thus the safety of the learners and
teachers is assured.
• Children’s playground: The playground has
been upgraded and very soon it will be of high
standard. The disciplines that require the pitch for
its activities will be greatly advantaged.
This year we trust upon the Lord for the
facelift of the whole campus in line with our
2016 projections.
Looking Ahead
The school is focused in being the model school in
Kenya where every learner is impacted with sound
Christian education and educational instruction so as
to churn out godly, upright and intellectual leaders for
this generation and beyond. This is in line with our
organisation’s vision.
Core Values
As an institution, we are committed to effective and
efficient service delivery. We have ensured that we
put into practise the organisation’s core values in our
day to day running:
• Family: We had a family prayer breakfast where
all the parents and teachers in the Buruburu
campus led by the Deputy Bishop Rev Ken
Kimiywe participated. It was fruitful thus enhanced
our relations as stakeholders in the business
