CITAM ROMANIA REPORT
...we feel very confident that
God will see us through
Rev. Walter Openda
Missionary Pastor
ministry here, we have seen a transformation in the
lives of many.
We still have a few challenges to overcome
amongst them finding a suitable location for our
worship services and building a strong team
that will catch the vision and drive the ministry
to the next level. We still have so much ground
to cover yet we feel very confident that God will
see us through.
2015 was a special year for CITAM Romania.
The year began on a high note when we received
our registration certificate from the Romanian
authorities in January. Soon after, we embarked on
implementing our church planting strategy. At this
point we were a small group of 14, eight adults,
two teenagers, and four children. After a period
of prayer and trusting God, we acquired a rental
place as a venue to plant the church. By God’s
Grace on 11th October 2015 we launched our
Sunday Services at a colorful ceremony with about
140 people in attendance. It was a blessing to
have eleven Pastors from different churches and
denominations come to support and stand with
us. Following the successful launch, we now have
regular Sunday services where our attendance has
grown from the initial number of 14 to an average
attendance of sixty four people every week, fifty
adults and fourteen children. Since we began our
3 lovely sisters keenly following the citam sunday service
