Introduction
The school opened its doors on Monday 11th
May, 2015 with two children; Alvin Joram and
Kaylah Makau.
Enrolment
Currently, the school enrolment stands at 9 children.
Four of them are in baby class and five in nursery.
Successes
Our school has good space for children to run around
at play. The classrooms are well ventilated and
spacious for children to play with various items as
they develop their motor-neuron skills. The location
of the school is very good as it is away from the busy
Mombasa highway thus buffering the children from
the motor vehicle noise pollution.
Advertising on print, electronic and
social media
We have been running video clips during
the Sunday service. The school will make a
presentation in the month of April during a Sunday
service to enhance popularity.
Parents Teacher Fellowship
To nurture teacher parent relationship, we are
in a process of identifying members of the PTF
committee, which will encourage more interaction
between parent, teacher and the children.
Challenges
We interviewed fifteen children in the month of
December 2015. Three of them were seeking class
one admission but were unable to gain admission
due to lack of quorum. We had two children for
admission to pre-unit but the parents declined to
bring them citing lack of competition.
Activities
Devotions
Following the steps of our Lord Jesus Christ who
said “man will not live by bread alone but by each
Word that comes from the mouth of God”, our day
starts with songs, memory verses and Bible stories.
Sports
Our co-curriculum is all rounded. Therefore we have
games/sports which are vital for child development.
