We thank God for the strides made in the year
2015 at CITAM Camp Kadolta. Though the facility
is still developing its structures, we have continued
to receive guests throughout the year from different
destinations i.e. locally and internationally. We
opened the year with special guests from Exter
University, Australia who had come camping for 3
days. They choose our campsite because of the
close proximity to the Nairobi National Park and the
location of their field study.
Achievements
• Camp Kadolta was able to market herself as a
preferred destination for many CITAM Ministries
during their retreats. We were able to host
various ministry groups for day and overnight
retreats. A special rate has been established
to allow our ministry members enjoy services
offered at the Campsite.
• We have had various churches within Nairobi
partnering with us during the year. Some of
them have given us repeated business since
the inception of the campsite. With increased
capacity and modern facilities, we believe the
Campsite will be able to attract more churches
within Nairobi County and beyond.
• Late last year a sizeable generator was procured
for the facility. This has enhanced our service
delivery; (with power outages during the rainy
seasons, it used to be quite unbearable to serve
guests in darkness but this is behind us now).
• There is a big sigh of relief with the completion
of a drainage system which has helped reduce
to a certain percentage the challenge of flooding
during very heavy rainfalls. The drainage though
not guaranteeing 100% flood control is able
to contain big volume of waters that would
otherwise spill over to our facility.
• The quality of food and housekeeping
services has greatly improved.
Staff are continually developing
themselves and improving
on various skills. Various
hygiene methods are
