rekindled this romance. We also saw Ryan
Lo collaborate with Hello Kitty to give
a playful new print to their drop-waist
dresses.
When it comes to outerwear, it’s all about
making an entrance. Opt for the oversized,
patterned piece and let that do the talking.
Patterned coats were seen across the
board from Paul Costelloe and Peter
Pilotto. From loud jacquard prints at Mary
Katrantzou to more muted pastel florals,
they are a must for everyone’s winter
wardrobe. If you’re not fancying the garish
prints, go oversized and pick those with a
fur collar trim. Capes and wraps will remain
so be sure to keep them at the front of
your wardrobe. Roksanda showcased
oversized shearling coats in abundance and
Preen by Thornton Bregazzi also favoured
the boyish fitting quilted shrugs.
Oscar de la Renta brought a new twist to
jazzing up our favourite LBD as it’s now
all about the embellished footwear. Ditch
your statement necklaces and draped
earrings as it’s time to let your feet do the
talking.
Much-loved British label Mulberry brought
yet another stunning show which was
full of wallpaper prints, pleated dresses,
checked suits, floral capes, cord skirts,
fairisle knits and embroidery. Bag-wise,
it was all about their cross-body ‘hat box’
style bags.
Topshop Unique offered yet another
uplifting show of colour. They returned
back to their British roots with their new
campaign girl Lily Jean Harvey. Lily has
taken over from our American Instagram
crush, Taylor Hill. The show was jampacked
with slogan tees, stripes and
tracksuits.
