Abstract:With the warming of the globe is coming, all kinds of active protecting permafrost<br />

methods were accepted, and the awning protecting the embankment slope is one of them, also<br />

was adopted at the Qinghai-Tibet road and railway and QingKang road. From the weather data<br />

analysis, we found the mean annual air temperature(MAAT) was -3.80 at Huashixia valley,<br />

but the MAAT was -5.3 at Beiluhe regions. Along with the trend of globe warming up, the<br />

QingKang road certainly will be the premonitory of the Qinghai-Tibet road and railway. It is<br />

very important and necessary to make clear the awning active protecting permafrost methods<br />

for high-temperature permafrost, and all of these are important meaning for the Qinghai-Tibet<br />

road and railway future run, the protecting permafrost and the maintenance of all kinds methods<br />

along with the Qinghai-Tibet lines.<br />

The analysis of the anti-frozen effect of the heat preservation foundation<br />

of the hydraulic buildings in the seasonal cold region<br />

Abstract: This paper mainly aims at the defects which exposed in popularizing and applying<br />

the anti-frozen method for heat preservation foundation of hydraulic structure. Through<br />

adopting the field spot simulation method and observing the EPS heat preservation foundation<br />

in four winter and springs, we obtained the spot observation data and results, given the variation<br />

characteristics of temperature field and variation discipline of humidity field for heat<br />

preservation foundation.<br />

Through the information of the temperature fields under the EPS thermal insulation boards<br />

with different thickness and density, the frost heaving variation orderliness of the temperature<br />

fields, and the testing results of the correlative physical mechanics’ parameter of EPS, the<br />

conception that EPS heat preservation foundation can restrain frost heaving has been validated,<br />
