30-Day Inspection<br />

Within <strong>the</strong> fi rst 30 days after possession, you may<br />

submit one 30-Day Form listing outstanding<br />

Pre-Delivery Inspection items, and any new items<br />

discovered since you took possession of your home.<br />

As per Tarion, please note you can only submit one<br />

30-Day Form and copies must be sent to both<br />

<strong>Minto</strong> Master<strong>Care</strong> and Tarion.<br />

This form can be found in <strong>the</strong> back of your Tarion<br />

<strong>Home</strong>owner Information Package, or by visiting<br />

www.tarion.com.<br />

We recommend that you fi ll out and submit <strong>the</strong> 30-Day<br />

Form on or about <strong>the</strong> 25 th day after your date of pos-<br />

session. An inspection of <strong>the</strong> items listed on your 30-Day Form will be conducted<br />

at your new home with a qualifi ed <strong>Minto</strong> Master<strong>Care</strong> Inspector. This appointment<br />

has been pre-arranged by <strong>Minto</strong> – please refer to our written correspondence<br />

for <strong>the</strong> date and time, or you can contact <strong>Minto</strong> Master<strong>Care</strong> for confi rmation.<br />

Following <strong>the</strong> review, any necessary work will be scheduled during normal<br />

working hours.<br />

During <strong>the</strong> fi rst year, if you experience a problem or<br />

concern that you feel may be a building defi ciency,<br />

please maintain a list to provide to <strong>Minto</strong> Master<strong>Care</strong>.<br />

Shortly before your fi rst year anniversary, you will<br />

receive a reminder from <strong>Minto</strong> Master<strong>Care</strong> to submit<br />

<strong>the</strong> list. A standard form, prepared by <strong>the</strong> Tarion<br />

Warranty Corporation, must be completed. The form<br />

can be found in your Tarion <strong>Home</strong>owner Information<br />

Package or at www.tarion.com.<br />

Upon receipt of your form, an appointment will be<br />

scheduled with one of our Inspectors to review your<br />

report and to schedule any necessary work. Any<br />

necessary work will be scheduled during normal working hours.<br />

It is important that you list ALL outstanding items when you submit your<br />

Year-End Form. Please note that if you submit more than one Year-End Form,<br />

Tarion will only act on <strong>the</strong> fi rst properly submitted form.<br />

Again, timing is very important as your Tarion warranty coverage does not<br />

require <strong>Minto</strong> to carry out any repairs if your form is submitted after <strong>the</strong><br />

one year anniversary date.<br />
