SUMMER
From June the racing, family fun activities and evening
entertainment returns to the Adnams July Course. Running
throughout the summer, there will be free family-friendly fun on
all themed days, which include donkey rides, enrolling at Super
Hero Training Camp, face painting and bouncy castles. This year’s
themes include a Heroes Day, Countryside Day, Royal British
Legion Day and the Great British Summer Day.
2017 marks 30 years of Newmarket Nights and this anniversary
year is going to be one to remember. There will be nine evening
race meetings followed by world-famous artists including Olly
Murs, Jess Glynne and Little Mix, to name just a few.
In July, the summer highlight is back, The Moët and Chandon
Festival. Ladies’ Day will return on Thursday 13th July offering the
hottest summer fashion and thousands of pounds worth of prizes
for the most stylish lady in attendance. Velvet will once again be in
attendance... Gentleman’s Day will follow on Friday 14th and the
Festival climax will be the Darley July Cup Day on Saturday 15th,
with some of the most prestigious sprint races in the world, plus
the Best Dressed Couple competition and après racing.
The Champions Lawn is the perfect spot to enjoy the racing over
the summer and this year, the venue has had a makeover! There
will be a formal landscaped garden with beautiful blossom trees,
fabulous views of the course, comfortable seating and a private
bar, offering a stylish raceday experience, close to all the action.
AUTUMN
From September, all the action moves back to the Rowley Mile,
where the Gold Season begins. The highlight of this season is
the Dubai Future Champions Festival running on Friday 13th
and Saturday 14th October. Autumn Ladies Day and The Style
Awards, sponsored by The Spa at Bedford Lodge Hotel, will
return on the Friday giving you the opportunity to showcase your
most stylish outfits and win thousands of pounds worth of prizes.
Saturday also offers amazing racing and entertainment including
an official Après Racing after party.
Velvet will be in attendance at many of these
race days so we look forward to seeing you there.
