Article (7)<br />
An Escrow Account will be op<strong>en</strong>ed pursuant to a writt<strong>en</strong> agreem<strong>en</strong>t betwe<strong>en</strong> the<br />
Developer and the Escrow Ag<strong>en</strong>t whereby the paym<strong>en</strong>ts made by off-plan purchasers<br />
or by the financers of the project are deposited in an account op<strong>en</strong>ed with the Escrow<br />
Ag<strong>en</strong>t in the name of the Real Estate Developm<strong>en</strong>t project.<br />
This agreem<strong>en</strong>t will determine the terms of managing the account and the rights and<br />
obligations of the parties to the agreem<strong>en</strong>t. A copy of this agreem<strong>en</strong>t will be submitted<br />
to the Departm<strong>en</strong>t.<br />
Article (8)<br />
The Departm<strong>en</strong>t may update the registry <strong>en</strong>try of the plot owned by the master developer<br />
to indicate that a purchase agreem<strong>en</strong>t has be<strong>en</strong> concluded betwe<strong>en</strong> the master<br />
developer and the sub-developer in respect of this plot or any part thereof. A purchaser<br />
of an off-plan Unit may request that the Departm<strong>en</strong>t update the registry <strong>en</strong>try of the plot<br />
on which the project will be constructed to indicate that a purchase agreem<strong>en</strong>t has be<strong>en</strong><br />
concluded betwe<strong>en</strong> the purchaser and the sub-developer.<br />
Chapter Three<br />
Managem<strong>en</strong>t of an Escrow Account<br />
Article (9)<br />
1. An Escrow Account will be op<strong>en</strong>ed in the name of the project and will be dedicated<br />
exclusively to the construction of that Real Estate Developm<strong>en</strong>t project. No<br />
attachm<strong>en</strong>t may be imposed on the paym<strong>en</strong>ts deposited in this account for the<br />
b<strong>en</strong>efit of the creditors of the Developer.<br />
2. In the ev<strong>en</strong>t of multiple projects implem<strong>en</strong>ted by the Developer, each project must<br />
have a separate Escrow Account.<br />

1. The Departm<strong>en</strong>t will maintain a special register known as the “Register of Escrow<br />
