operations, with 29% of the total fleet configured for offshore oil and
gas support. However, the number of helicopters being utilized for
this mission type has been steadily decreasing. At year end 2016, 44
helicopters were used for offshore operations, slightly down from 45 in
2015 and 49 in 2014.

Weststar Aviation Services is the country’s largest operator for civil
helicopters. The company’s general aviation division, which operates
both fixed-wing and rotary for charter, advised that the charter business
in 2016 has been challenging, however they remain active by having the
ability to be price competitive.
