ASIA-PACIFIC REGION SURVEY 2017 Q2<br />

In May 2017, over 400 respondents (a 20% increase from Q1)<br />

participated in ASG’s survey on the mood and intentions of the current<br />

business aviation market in the Asia-Pacific region.<br />

Regions with the most respondents include:<br />

1. South and East Asia (160 respondents (40%), including<br />

Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Thailand, Japan, and<br />

South Korea)<br />

2. Central Asia (82 respondents (21%), including India,<br />

Pakistan, and others.)<br />

3. Greater China (74 respondents (19%), including Mainland<br />

China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau)<br />

4. Oceania (60 respondents (15%), Australia, New Zealand and<br />

Papua New Guinea)<br />

The optimistic economic mood has reached its highest point since<br />

ASG started this survey. During 2017 Q2, 45% of the total respondents<br />

believed that the economy has passed its low point and will improve,<br />

a significant 7% increase from last quarter. Alternatively, 21% of<br />

respondents believed that the economy has not reached its low point<br />

and will continue to get worse, a 6% drop from last quarter. The number<br />

of respondents who believed that the economy reached a low point in<br />

May 2017 is 34%, which is 1% lower compared to the 2017Q1 survey.<br />
