BEACH GARDENS RESORT & MARINA located on the Sunshine<br />
<strong>Coast</strong> is only 150 km (95 mi) from <strong>West</strong> Vancouver. For boaters<br />
the resort is conveniently located just before Powell River enroute<br />
to the water paradise of Desolation Sound. They have a full service<br />
marina with both transient and permanent moorage up to 110<br />
feet, fuel station, 15/30 amp power, showers, washrooms, laundry,<br />
ice, water, garbage disposal plus a well-stocked liquor store.<br />
Surround yourself with spectacular <strong>West</strong> <strong>Coast</strong> scenery at the<br />
Beach Gardens Resort & Marina - it is your holiday, so beachcomb<br />
for seashells and starfish, paddleboard and kayak, or enjoy<br />
the resort’s fitness center and indoor pool. Afterwards you can relax<br />
on the deck as the resident eagles soar through the pines, catch<br />
a glimpse of a passing pod of orcas, or just sit back and take in the<br />
panoramic vistas of Malaspina Strait. The on-site Savoury Bight<br />
Seaside Restaurant and Pub, with oceanfront patio and fireplace,<br />
is equally popular with guests and locals. With a top end banquet<br />
area, the resort is a popular destination for weddings, meetings<br />
and conferences.<br />
There is a grocery store just two blocks from the resort and<br />
they offer a free shuttle, or if you desire more services, the Town<br />
Centre Mall has a free shuttle about eight times a day from late<br />
June to early September.
