Tanja has a management background in sales & marketing, working for Hilton International in Great Britain, Germany, and Austria. She developed her career further when setting up the Event Sales department for a luxury Hotel in Bangkok. More recently Tanja founded an international event management company in the People’s Republic of China and was working in Hong Kong. Upon her return to Austria in 2015, she joined the consultancy team of Reburg & Partners in Vienna. Tanja Millner is a qualified group trainer enthusiastically sharing her know-how and experience in workshops and training. Her basic principle is: “Tell me and I forget. Show me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.” (Confucius) MARTIN GAHN, CRME Top Gahn Quality Coaching — Martin Gahn is a man of practice with deep experience working in the hospitality industry. Martin’s main goal was to cover all types of hotels including leisure, city, conference, boutique and design. He focuses on applying the practical know-how which everybody can use immediately starting with optimizing internal processes, implementing new strategies and developing ideas on leveraging business for hotels. Among several other positions Martin was Senior Revenue Manager with the Preferred Hotel Group and Director of Electronic Distribution with Ringhotels, a German based group of 150 individually owned and managed properties. “My mission is to provide practical experience and first-class knowledge and to share it with those of us who are interested in becoming better and better.”

He has worked in many hotel operational departments and he also has experience in hotel administration. He is a hands-on manager with large team leadership experience. Stefan’s main competence is revenue management and controlling. He is also skilled in training, teaching, and working with people. Stefan has digital competence in the fields of Social Media and SEO. Stefan’s most recent position was as Revenue Manager and Business Analyst in the 4 Star Superior Hotel, Platzl in Munich, Germany. “My biggest encouragement is to see that the effort we invest in projects is successful and the staff we train is adapting to the new structures and keeps improving.” MAG. ALEXANDRA FEDERER, MBA REBURG & PARTNERS — With her professional experience from different industries, Alexandra brings with her a view from outside the hotel industry based on 11 years of working for an international group in England, Austria, Germany and France in the area of controlling, marketing, and business development. Since 2007 Alexandra has been working as an independent consultant. Alexandra works on hotel consulting projects focusing on financial controlling. She also teaches business planning and controlling as an external lecturer at the Universities of Applied Sciences – FH Wien, FH Wiener Neustadt and FH Technikum, Vienna. Alexandra’s motto: “There is no grass on the path that many walk.” (Proverb) SANJA ČIŽMAR, PhD HD CONSULTING — Sanja Čižmar is Senior Partner with Hotel & Destination Consulting, a boutique consulting firm specialized in the hospitality and tourism industry. During her 25-year consulting career Sanja has lead and participated in more than 350 management consulting and coaching projects. She has participated in strategic and development of hospitality and tourism projects for leading companies, investors and governments in Croatia and South East Europe. She is also a lecturer of Hotel Management at the University of Zagreb, at the Faculty of Economics and Business (external associate). Sanja earned her PhD degree in Strategic Management of the Hospitality Industry at the Faculty of Economics and Business Zagreb. Sanja has been invited as a keynote speaker to numerous hospitality and tourism conferences.
