Alipay Now at Eraman!<br />

Duty free and travel retail stores partners with Alipay for smooth<br />

online transactions<br />

Malaysia Airports (Niaga) Sdn Bhd, known as Eraman, the largest<br />

duty free and travel retail operator in Malaysia, recently announced<br />

that it partnered with Alipay, the world’s largest online and mobile<br />

payment platform operated by Ant Financial Services Group.<br />

Eraman will now be able to tap into 520 million Alipay active<br />

users; 4.5 million who are Chinese tourists that travel to Malaysia<br />

annually. These Chinese travellers visiting Eraman outlets will be<br />

able to conveniently pay with their Alipay personal QR code via<br />

their smart phone.<br />

In conjunction with this smart partnership, Eraman has<br />

launched a special promotion starting from September 1<br />

until 31 December <strong>2017</strong> whereby all Chinese travellers using<br />

Alipay will be entitled to an e-voucher of RMB100 when they<br />

spend RMB1,000 at participating Eraman retail outlets. This<br />

e-voucher can be redeemed for the second purchase at Eraman<br />

outlets within 24 hours.<br />

Make Kelantan your next state of choice for travels with Malaysia<br />

Airports' Joyful Malaysia initiative – its fourth collaboration<br />

with a state tourism agency, Malaysia Airports is bringing the<br />

Kelantan experience to its terminals in line with its mission to<br />

provide an informative and joyful journey to airport visitors.<br />

From September 9, Kelantan Tourism is showcasing their<br />

cultural heritage through performances such as silat, dances,<br />

dikir barat and wayang kulit on weekends until October 1 at<br />

both terminals in KL International Airport (KLIA). Apart from<br />

highlighting Kelantan’s rich heritage, this initiative is also<br />

meant to promote the state as a premier tourism destination.<br />

To kick-off the collaboration, Culture, Tourism and Heritage<br />

Kelantan Chairman, Mejar (B) Dato’ Md Anizam Ab Rahman<br />

launched the Kelantan Pavilion that is located at the Departure<br />

Meanwhile, Alipay users will also be able to enjoy up to 10% off<br />

for purchases made at Eraman’s Food & Beverage outlets and<br />

its convenience store, EXpress. The discount can be used for the<br />

2nd purchase at Eraman within 24 hours.<br />

Area, Level 3, klia2. Visitors to the airport will be able to<br />

obtain travel information such as hotel accommodation, places<br />

of interest, events, festivals, as well as shopping deals and<br />

promotions in Kelantan at the Kelantan Pavilion.<br />

On top of this, international arriving passengers were also<br />

treated to a special welcome reception at the klia2 International<br />

Arrival Hall. The welcome reception was graced by Md Anizam<br />

and wife Datin Nor Asikin Ahmad, together with Malaysia<br />

Airports Managing Director, Datuk Badlisham Ghazali and wife<br />

Datin Rogayah Ibrahim. The welcome reception saw passengers<br />

being greeted with an exquisite cultural performance by the<br />

Kelantan dance troupe. They were also presented with unique<br />

souvenirs from Kelantan as welcome gifts.<br />
