When we were approached by Dave and Dani from<br />
CTRL V DCals to test out one of their surfboard decals,<br />
we were 100% keen. Who wouldn't want awesome<br />
quality custom artwork on their surfboard? When Dani<br />
said she would design a decal showcasing four years of<br />
<strong>Smorgasboarder</strong> covers to decorate the deck of a wellworn<br />
board, we were... well, firmly stuck on the idea.<br />

HERE’S A STEP-BY-STEP PROCESS SHOWING YOU HOW<br />
EASY CTRL V DCALS ARE TO USE:<br />
1. Ensure board is super clean and free from damage.<br />
2. Lay out the DCal, align stringer for positioning and masking<br />
tape in place<br />
3. Using the supplied squeegee, work from centre to rails<br />
(don't touch the sticky side!)<br />
4. Work out any bubbles with squeegee, trim if required with<br />
supplied knife<br />
5. She’s now ready for the pool-room (or in our case, the<br />
offi ce/ boardroom)<br />
6. Bugger that, this baby needs to be surfed<br />
7. CTRL V decals can be applied to the bottom or deck of your<br />
board. We found LICK Liquid Surf Wax ideal -it's super<br />
sticky, easy to apply and easy to get off. More importantly,<br />
it didn't hide any of the artwork.<br />
