Old school, Paulownia and Cedar single fin with
flyers modelled off a Col Smith template
A more fish-nosed version of the Shovelhead: wide point still forward, the rocker flat and a roll/hull nose
for neutrality under the front foot which feeds into a deepish double concave, to flat out of the tail. Rails
upturned in the nose, spiralling to low profile foil in the tail. Quad set up optimal, and in the Fouruster
config. Think your best board, cut about a foot off it and it’s now your best board ever!!
Don’t let the spray job prevent you from taking in the hidden
detail... It’s like Thin Lizzy, covering what’s underneath
?!
For those almost flat or full and slow days, this paddles like a longboard, is super loose and
speeds through dead sections. Built with King PU foam, Newkem
Polyester resin, glassed with
4oz x 4 + 6oz E cloth and finished with a gloss and polish, it’s fitted with FCS MR TFX
twin fins.
