“The surfing life is what drives me as a photographer.
Since I took up surfing, my life has changed and I’m
surrounded by the coastal and surfing life. As a surfer,
I experience so much beauty in my everyday life. As a
photographer, I naturally want to capture that and share
it with surfers, non surfers and anyone who has an appreciation
for beauty in this world. I’m obsessed!”

“I am a Canon girl through and through, and use
Aquatech housing. It’s important to have trust in your
equipment when you’re taking your gear into the water
or just capturing a moment that you know you can't
recreate. The equipment in front of the photographer is
what helps them express their style, and my equipment
helps me to capture things the way I see them.”
Shesurfs
“I started surfing late in my life - at 18 years old - as
I didn't grow up on the beach. I think maybe that’s
what has given me such an appreciation for the sport,
because it wasn't always on my back doorstep and I
never had the chance to take it for granted. Over the
past years I’ve developed such a love for surfing and
immersed myself in it.
"I’ve been lucky enough to experience the beautiful
life that surfing has to offer, and meet many other
surfer girls living that life. Five years ago, I met my
now very good friend and business partner, Hayley,
who had similar interests and a similar direction in
life. We teamed up and started Shesurfs. It started as
a Facebook page which was based on sharing our life
as surfer girls, and has now grown into a blog style
website where we like to connect surfer girls together,
share everything a surfer girl would like to know about
- photos, recipes videos, articles, fashion, tips and
surf trips.
"I find surfing so beautiful, inspiring and such a healthy
lifestyle to live. Surfing has given me so much in my life
that I want to share that with other girls!”
