HOW DID THAT GET STARTED?<br />
I came up with the idea whilst<br />
in Bali talking to a few guests<br />
at Mick’s Place and they told me<br />
about a guy in Sydney who does a<br />
similar thing and sells his photos<br />
online -Waz That You, I think he was<br />
called. I came up with Lookslikeme,<br />
there and then - you could be<br />
looking through my photos and say<br />
"Hey, that looks like me," and that’s<br />
how it all started. Taking photos of<br />
YOU DO A LOT WITH THE<br />

ASSOCIATION OF AUSTRALIA)...<br />
A few mates from Narrowneck<br />
Longboard Club have been involved<br />
for quite a few years and I had<br />
offered to take some photos for<br />
them to raise awareness for DSA,<br />
so off I toddled to the fi rst event of<br />
the year and I was hooked from the<br />
fi rst minute.<br />
I started taking photos of the kids<br />
and seeing the joy in their eyes<br />
through the lens was unbelievable -<br />
the average surfer, and posting them<br />
on my web site for sale at $11.00 for<br />
an emailed jpeg.<br />
I’ve had plenty of people saying<br />
what a great concept I have, as<br />
they had never had a photo of<br />
themselves surfi ng, and they had<br />
surfed all their lives.<br />
brought a tear to my eye and plenty<br />
of others on that day.<br />
I spoke to a few parents and<br />
emailed the photos to them free of<br />
charge, and the joy they got from<br />
the photos was a great buzz for me<br />
too. I posted some on Facebook<br />
and had over 2,000 views...<br />
Unbelievable! So now my wife and I<br />
are both Team Leaders with the DSA<br />
and we love it.<br />
