“With the rising interest in SUP & the rapid development of boards for surfing, there comes a whole new set of lessons in care & maintenance of that
equipment. Dings have always been a big part of any watercraft. Especially with many boards now constructed out of EPS foam, the danger of piercing the
thin fiberglass skin is one that can never be overlooked. The reason is that Styrofoam cores on watercraft will soak water quickly & it becomes impossible
to drain all the water back out resulting in added weight & the possibility of that water coming between the core & skin causing delamination. There is
