• 2 GCSEs at grade 3 (D) or above, including English.<br />

• You will have an interview.<br />

• You must pass an initial assessment in English,<br />

maths & ICT.<br />

ABOUT THE COURSE<br />

Administrators handle the day-to-day tasks in an<br />

office and make sure organisations run smoothly.<br />

During this apprenticeship, you will develop a range<br />

of transferable skills which means you can work<br />

in almost any setting, from an international retail<br />

chain to a small manufacturing company. Positions<br />

may include executive assistants, secretaries,<br />

administration assistants, data entry clerks and<br />

office juniors. Administration roles are an excellent<br />

starting point for a career in business and you can<br />

even to move in to management, once you have<br />

more experience.<br />

YOUR FUTURE<br />

After completing an Intermediate Apprenticeship,<br />

you can progress on to an Advanced Apprenticeship<br />

or full-<strong>time</strong> study at college. Alternatively, you can<br />

use the skills and experience you have gained to<br />

progress further in your career.<br />

• 4 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, (plus a minimum<br />

grade 3 (D) or above in English and maths).<br />

• Completion of a relevant apprenticeship<br />

programme at Level 2 or minimum of one year’s<br />

relevant industry experience in the same area of<br />

work as you wish to study.<br />

• You will have an interview.<br />

• You must pass an initial assessment in English,<br />

maths & ICT.<br />

ABOUT THE COURSE<br />

The Administrator role is vital to organisations in<br />

every sector to ensure the smooth running of the<br />

business. You need prior experience in a business<br />

or administration job role as you will be responsible<br />

for supervisory tasks within the workplace. You<br />

will continue to develop your transferable skills &<br />

experience and could progress in to roles including<br />

office manager, administration team leader, PA or a<br />

wide range of managerial roles within business.<br />

YOUR FUTURE<br />

After your apprenticeship, you can study a course<br />

at college or university, such as a Leadership &<br />

Management Higher Apprenticeship. Alternatively,<br />

you can use the skills and experience you have<br />

gained to progress further in your career.<br />
