• 2 GCSEs at grade 3 (D), to include English. Maths
must be at grade 2 (E) or above.

A full Level 1 at Pass grade, plus a GCSE grade 3
(D) or above in English

to check the course is right for you.

ABOUT THE COURSE
This course is the ideal starting place for a career in
ICT. Develop a digital portfolio as you study hardware
& software systems and a range of IT applications
including website development and databases. Learn
how computer systems are used in the workplace
through completing work-related projects and
assignments.
YOUR FUTURE
On successful completion of the course, you could
progress to a Computing, Business or Media Level
3 course, start a Computing apprenticeship or use
the skills and experience you have gained to find
employment in the Computing industry.

ABOUT THE COURSE
On this popular course, you learn new Computing
& Networking concepts and gain practical handson
skills. You develop your understanding of the
technical specifications involved in a wide range of
computer components and network devices. You
build and upgrade a PC, install software, troubleshoot
and set up secure computer networks. You also gain
vital work experience through the CofE4B to enhance
both your knowledge and your CV.
