WHAT YOU NEED<br />

• 2 GCSEs at grade 3 (D), to include English. Maths<br />

must be at grade 2 (E) or above.<br />

Or<br />

A full Level 1 at Pass grade, plus a GCSE grade 3<br />

(D) or above in English<br />

• You will have an interview and further assessment<br />

to check the course is right for you.<br />

• A positive attitude and a keen interest in ICT.<br />

ABOUT THE COURSE<br />

This course is the ideal starting place for a career in<br />

ICT. Develop a digital portfolio as you study hardware<br />

& software systems and a range of IT applications<br />

including website development and databases. Learn<br />

how computer systems are used in the workplace<br />

through completing work-related projects and<br />

assignments.<br />

YOUR FUTURE<br />

On successful completion of the course, you could<br />

progress to a Computing, Business or Media Level<br />

3 course, start a Computing apprenticeship or use<br />

the skills and experience you have gained to find<br />

employment in the Computing industry.<br />

ABOUT THE COURSE<br />

On this popular course, you learn new Computing<br />

& Networking concepts and gain practical handson<br />

skills. You develop your understanding of the<br />

technical specifications involved in a wide range of<br />

computer components and network devices. You<br />

build and upgrade a PC, install software, troubleshoot<br />

and set up secure computer networks. You also gain<br />

vital work experience through the CofE4B to enhance<br />

both your knowledge and your CV.<br />

university at a higher level, or use the skills and<br />
