Where do the months go?
Thanks for all the great comments we
have received in the past few weeks
regarding our ‘new look’ magazine.
Our designer, Carol, has done a
wonderful job of freshening up all the
adverts and community section making
the whole magazine more attractive
and easy on the eye!
Starting on page 64, the usual
selection of community articles once
again make this month’s issue another
great read. As well as the usual
contributors such as the Rooley Moor
Neighbourhood Forum, Friends of
Norden Jubilee Park, the Norden and
Bamford Councillors, the local
churches, the local Police and Save our
Bamford Greenbelt to name but a few,
we also have new articles from Friends
of Bamford and Rochdale Council who
have sent us a fascinating feature on
Denehurst Park – well worth a visit.

sculptor, Mick Burns. Ollie is situated in Denehurst Park on Edenfield Road. Members
of the public suggested names for the feathery friend via the official Rochdale Council
social media pages (Facebook and Twitter). The winning name of ‘Ollie’ was carved
into the base of the sculpture.
