DAY 1: Start Quito . Welco me to<br />

Ecuador’s capital, Quito! Meet up with<br />

your Trip Manager & group before<br />

heading out to learn all about this city<br />

& the history of the Inca & the Spanish<br />

invasion before the city’s best views at<br />

Panecillo. Later, visit the Equatorial line &<br />

wander between the two hemispheres.<br />

Tonight, head out for dinner with the<br />

DAY 2: Quito to Tena . It’s out of the<br />

city & into the lush jungle with spectacular<br />

views, a perfect way to spend the day. Get<br />

your adrenaline pumping this afternoon<br />

DAY 3: Tena . This morning its all about<br />

ME Time – have a sleep-in or opt to visit<br />

a n indig enous co mmunit y. H otel (B , D)<br />

DAY 4: Tena to Baños . We head to Baños<br />

today, the adventure capital of Ecuador,<br />

nestled under the still active Tungurahua<br />

volcano. Tonight get local as you learn to<br />

salsa at our included lesson. Hotel (B)<br />

DAY 2: Quito to Minga Lodge.<br />

We’ll be meeting up with the ME to We<br />

team in Los Rios, before travelling by<br />

boat down the Napo River. Arriving at<br />

Minga Lodge,we’ll then take part in a<br />

trip orientation, and after dinner take<br />

a night walk through the Amazonian<br />

jungle. (B,D)<br />

DAY 3: Minga Lodge.<br />

After meeting and getting to know<br />

the local community and their current<br />

priorities, we’ll spend most of our<br />

day volunteering on a build for a<br />

current local infrastructure project.<br />

Later on, we’ll experience a Shamanic<br />

Ceremony and learn the ins and outs<br />

of indigenous weapons from a local<br />

hunter. (B,L,D)<br />

DAY 4: Minga Lodge to Banos.<br />

Waking up early, we’ll head out before<br />

breakfast to explore the rainforest by<br />

daylight, keeping our eyes peeled for<br />

toucans, long-tailed Potoos, as well as<br />

the myriad of flora and fauna. It’s then<br />

back onto the boat as we journey back<br />

to Los Rios, where you’ll continue on<br />

to Banos. (B)<br />

DAY 5: Baños . With a free day, explore<br />

your way & Baños goes off! Situated<br />

in a valley of waterfalls & hot springs,<br />

Baños is a hub for travellers who love<br />

great weather, small town vibes & the<br />

great outdoors. Choose your adventure<br />

– horseback riding, canyoneering, or<br />

DAY 6: Baños to Guayaquil . To d ay we<br />

head to Guayaquil, where a walk down the<br />

p ro men ad e is e s s entia l H otel (B)<br />

DAY 7: Guayaquil to Isabela Island .<br />

Today we fly to the Galapagos Islands.<br />

Before arriving in Puerto Ayora we’ll check<br />

out the island’s old lava tunnels & see the<br />

giant tortoises. Later, get out on the water<br />

as head off to Isabela Island. Hotel (B,D)<br />

DAY 8: Isabela Island . This morning<br />

we’ll kayak with sea lions & snorkel with<br />

colourful fish. You might even see some<br />

DAY 9: Isabela Island to Santa Cruz<br />

Island . Relax this morning before we take<br />

off to Santa Cruz Island. This afternoon<br />

we’ll visit Tortuga Bay for a stroll along the<br />

DAY 10: Santa Cruz to San Cristobal<br />

Island . We’ll visit the Charles Darwin<br />

Research Station this morning & check<br />

out the tortoises & land iguanas before<br />

heading out to San Cristobal! This<br />

DAY 11: San Cristobal Island .<br />

First up: a coastal cruise to spot native<br />

birds, before hitting the water in search<br />

of puffer fish & cute sea lion pups. We’ll<br />

snorkel around Kicker Rock’s 143m tuff<br />

cone looking out for manta rays, starfish<br />

& maybe a Galapagos shark. Later,<br />

relax on the beach, before a feast.<br />
