B e m - vindo/welcome to Rio de Janeiro, it’s time to get this carnival started in South America’s most vibrant city. Check in to your hotel this afternoon, then head out to explore. This afternoon, meet up with your Trip Manager & fellow travel buddies before heading out for a Brazilian feast. H ote l (D) DAY 2: Rio de Janeiro . Today will kick off with a visit to perhaps South America’s biggest icon – the Christ the Redeemer statue. This religious monument casts an almighty shadow over the city below, & will be a moment you won’t be forgetting any time soon.
