- Promote the use <strong>of</strong> similar equipment in the households, and other urban<br />

common areas - both public and private<br />

- Double the benefits <strong>of</strong> deploying the action for the public street lamps: 1) energy<br />

savings and operational savings; 2) Increase the lighting efficiency and reduce the<br />

energy consumptions.<br />

- Promoting the use <strong>of</strong> similar installation and equipment in the common urban<br />

regions (Public and Private).<br />

Communication Tools:<br />

Awareness posters nailed on street lamps and electricity exchange boxes to alert<br />

citizens on municipality action and to alert on reduction facts about saved<br />

consumption. The actions will be accompanied by strong visual campaign in the<br />

municipal and local media.<br />

Campaign on being an eco-citizen explaining the side effect <strong>of</strong> greenhouse gas<br />

emission and the usage <strong>of</strong> renewable energies technologies (electricity from natural<br />

resources) through messages conveyed by television, the radio and the written<br />

press.<br />

Meetings with the community members to promote the municipal action and<br />

promoting the usage <strong>of</strong> efficient lighting in households through distribution <strong>of</strong> LED<br />

lamps.<br />

Creating an info centre to inform citizens about new technologies.<br />

Training to the students (primary and secondary schools) on using the energy<br />

correctly.<br />
