1 teacher Christina Sands, pictured with her Piwakawaka 2 class pupils, has
been recognised with an advanced classroom expertise teacher award. The
the New Zealand Educational Institute to recognise teachers with exemplary
classroom practice and to encourage highly experienced expert teachers to
stay in the classroom. Ms Sands is the third teacher from the school to have
received an ACET award, joining Liz Coster and Di van der Zwet.
