Firm, flat surface required to ensure good heat transfer. Avoid mounting on protruding surfaces.
Mounting location
Electronic ballasts must be protected against moisture and heat. Installation in outdoor luminaires:
water protection rate of > 4 (e.g. IP54 required).

If the ballast is destined for installation in a luminaire, sufficient heat transfer must be ensured between
the electronic ballast and the luminaire casing. Electronic ballasts should be mounted with the greatest
possible clearance to heat sources or lamps. During operation, the temperature measure at the
ballast's tc point must not exceed the specified maximum value.
