My mother is the person I can tell
anything, my shoulder to cry on,
and my No. 1 supporter. Whenever
I am feeling down, it is she who is
there to pick me up again. She has
shaped me into the person I am
today, and I will never be able to
fully express just how grateful I am
for her. The only two words that
could possibly describe her are
“my mom.”

Waterstone
I love my mom, because she is
nice. She gave birth to me and takes
care of me. She reads me bedtime
stories and provides food for me.
She drives me to soccer practice and
cleans my clothes. She takes care
of me when I am sick and helps me
with my homework. Whenever I get
hurt, my mom picks me up and hugs
me, and it makes me feel comforted.
She takes me to cool places for my
birthday. She makes it special for
me. When I am scared, she comforts
me. She takes me to church and the
temple to learn more about Jesus. I
love her very much.
One time when we were making
leprechaun traps, I burned myself
with a hot glue gun, and I got two
big blisters. My mom comforted me
and said, “It is OK,” and brought
me an ice pack. I love my mom very
much.

My mom is sweet. First, my mom
reads at nighttime to me. My mom
helps me with homework. She cares
for me. When I am sick, my mom
makes soup for me. This is why my
mom is special.

My mother is not only my role model,
but she’s my best friend. Her perseverance
inspires me to work hard
each day, and her kindness and
generosity show me that no matter
the circumstances, you must put others
first. Whenever I need someone
to talk to, a hand to hold, or a shoulder
to cry on, my mom is always by
my side. Each day, her positive attitude
reminds me that we need to
count our blessings and always be
thankful for what we have.
In 2007, my mother needed
to leave her whole life behind in
New Jersey and move to Florida
for my father’s job. Now, many
years later, my mom not only has
a full-time job in the medical field,
but she runs marathons yearly for
charity. Through all of this, she still
makes time to take care of our family.
Each year, my family celebrates
St. Patrick’s Day, my mom’s favorite
holiday, with those we love. One
of our favorite things to do is to try
and find a four-leaf clover, a token
of good luck. Now I have finally
realized my four-leaf clover was
right in front of me all along — my
mom.

My mom is the best, because she
helps other people. She is a nurse, and
she cares for everyone. She is honest
and smart. She is pretty and creative.
She is loving and hardworking. She
helps clean and organize the house.
She is one of a kind. She is funny and
thoughtful. She makes me and my brother
food when we are hungry. My mom
is careful with things and active. She
also is intelligent and friendly to others.
My mom is successful with a lot of
things. My mom is talented and fun. She
cheers up people when they are sad.
My mom is proud of me and my
brother, because we try our best in
school and help her. My mom is the
best. She is not rude or mean. She is
nice and sweet. She makes me and
my family laugh.

whole world. Our mom is the best,
because she makes fantastic meals,
is very nice, cleans very nicely, loves
us very much, and keeps us safe.
