against nation, nei<strong>the</strong>r shall <strong>the</strong>y learn war any<br />

more. But <strong>the</strong>y shall sit every man under his vine,<br />

and under his fig-tree; and none shall make <strong>the</strong>m<br />

afraid: for <strong>the</strong> mouth <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Lord <strong>of</strong> hosts hath<br />

spoken it. For all people will walk every one in <strong>the</strong><br />

name <strong>of</strong> his God, and we will walk in <strong>the</strong> name <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>the</strong> Lord our God forever and ever.” (Micah 4:1-5)<br />

It will be observed that in this scripture it is not<br />

<strong>the</strong> Lord who says all <strong>of</strong> this, but “many nations.”<br />

This is precisely what <strong>the</strong> nations are saying at <strong>the</strong><br />

present time. <strong>The</strong>y are talking <strong>of</strong> amity, but <strong>the</strong>y<br />

are preparing for Armageddon. But while many<br />

nations are talking about beating <strong>the</strong>ir swords into<br />

plowshares, and <strong>the</strong>ir spears into pruninghooks,<br />

and saying that nation shall not lift up a sword<br />

against nation, nei<strong>the</strong>r shall <strong>the</strong>y learn war any<br />

more,--while <strong>the</strong>y are saying all this, God declares<br />

what <strong>the</strong>y are actually doing:--<br />

“Proclaim ye this among <strong>the</strong> Gentiles; Prepare<br />

war, wake up <strong>the</strong> mighty men, let all <strong>the</strong> men <strong>of</strong><br />

war draw near; let <strong>the</strong>m come up: beat your<br />

plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks<br />
