Doogon’s Story
Cultural Identity
Doogon is an
Aboriginal
boy with a
big family. He
lives with his mum
and dad, and sister, Ella. Doogon’s family is
special because there are other people living
with them in the family home. His Aunty Flo
and Granny Mae, also live with Doogon and
his family.
Doogon thinks it is great living in the house
with such a large family. When Doogon’s mum
and dad go to work at the local factory, Flo
looks after Doogon. His sister, Ella, goes to
school, but when she comes home, she plays
with Doogon.
