Jamaica Bearings Company (JBC) began in
1925, as a bearing distributor for local
industries. As the industries changed over
the decades, the company evolved to
meet market challenges. After adding the
aerospace and rail/transit markets to the
core industries served, the company
focused on the United States government.
Jamaica Bearings Company secured its role
in the export business in its earliest days,
since New York City has always been a
worldwide business hub. Today, the
company has grown to encompass over
130 employees, serving the aerospace
market and US government worldwide,
and the rail and transit market throughout

strong presence in the local NYC metropolitan
