9:30am. Find out about some incredible
volunteer opportunities this year at Park
Trails.
September 12: Room Parent Meeting
at 9:30am.
September 17-21: Fall Scholastic
Book Fair. Each class will be given
several opportunities to shop for a wide
selection of books. Help support our
school and promote some great reading
habits.
September 20: Family Game Night at
PTE at 5:30pm. Bring the entire family to
this free event.
September 25-26: Fall Pictures
(detailed information to follow).
Keep your eyes out for information about
our Mad Hatter Bash taking place on
October 19. You won’t want to miss it.

MIDDLE SCHOOL

Hello Wolf Nation!
School will not be in session on
September 3 in observance of Labor
Day. All schools and administrative
offices will remain closed. We continue
with Open House for 7th and 8th grades
on September 6 at 7pm.
There is no school on September 10.
Everyone should look their best and put
their best smile on for Fall Pictures on
September 12. Our Barnes & Noble
Family Night is on September 13.
Come out for some fun, good literature,
and a good time with friends to support
our school.
School will be out on September 19.

our programs and events. If you are

FOREST GLEN
MIDDLE SCHOOL

The beginning
of August
heralded the
end of
summer
break for
students and teachers throughout
Broward County. Even though they’ve
traded beach towels for backpacks, the
dedicated teachers and staff at Forest
Glen Middle School were ready to open
their doors for parents and students.
With the 2018-2019 school year
beginning, everyone is eager to start our
young minds on their path to learning
new and exciting information, as well as
reinforcing the knowledge they’ll need
for career readiness. With programs
such as Pre-Quantum Leap and Honors
Academy, students will be challenged
on an intellectual level. Many enriching
elective classes, such as the award
winning Chorus and Band programs, are
raising the bar every year in the musical
department. The various sports and
clubs are also geared up for what looks
to be a promising year for the FGMS
Wildcats.
Nearly finished renovations also hold
promise for the local middle school. A
newly built single point of entry office
will lead to a more secure campus while
gymnasium improvements promise high
moral and a better game experience for
players and spectators alike. Principal
Forsman has also added a media
studio to the middle school experience
mix, giving students the opportunity
to delve into the competitive field of
television broadcasting.
The devoted faculty and staff at FGMS
had repainted, rearranged, and readied
their campus for the arrival of about
1,400 young minds. Go Wildcats! P
