This chart is applicable for all sizes of types LTS, LTA, LTKS, LTKA
Example of determination:
•
a.e. LTS 6-80 with torque M 215 NM at 32o
- at a torque angle of 15o = 35% = ~ 75NM
- at a torque angle of 22o = 56% = ~ 120NM
- at a torque angle of 28o = 81% = ~ 174NM
•
a.e. LTKA 5-60 with torque M 85 NM at 32o
- at a torque angle of 10o = 20% = ~ 17NM
- at a torque angle of 12o = 26% = ~ 22NM
- at a torque angle of 26o = 73% = ~ 62NM
The data determined with the help of the above chart can
show a tolerance of ±10%, normally it will be much less.
(The tolerances result from deviations of material and shore
hardness tolerances, as well as temperature changes).
All elastic material will show a static deformation, known
as cold flow, after a period of time. For Rubber the natural
setting - cold flow - will result in a loss of approx. 3 up to 4o
from its 0o position. This fact has to be considered for certain
applications.
