This chart is applicable for all sizes of types LTS, LTA, LTKS, LTKA<br />

Example of determination:<br />

•<br />

a.e. LTS 6-80 with torque M 215 NM at 32o<br />

- at a torque angle of 15o = 35% = ~ 75NM<br />

- at a torque angle of 22o = 56% = ~ 120NM<br />

- at a torque angle of 28o = 81% = ~ 174NM<br />

•<br />

a.e. LTKA 5-60 with torque M 85 NM at 32o<br />

- at a torque angle of 10o = 20% = ~ 17NM<br />

- at a torque angle of 12o = 26% = ~ 22NM<br />

- at a torque angle of 26o = 73% = ~ 62NM<br />

The data determined with the help of the above chart can<br />

show a tolerance of ±10%, normally it will be much less.<br />

(The tolerances result from deviations of material and shore<br />

hardness tolerances, as well as temperature changes).<br />

All elastic material will show a static deformation, known<br />

as cold flow, after a period of time. For Rubber the natural<br />

setting - cold flow - will result in a loss of approx. 3 up to 4o<br />

from its 0o position. This fact has to be considered for certain<br />

applications.<br />
