Activity in Iceland continued in 2018, with new work being planned.
Keilir
The exciting news from Keilir is that they are resuming work in 2019 on their course re-development with the
construction of the new 13 th green in the summer. This is a plan that re-aligns their back nine to make more of the
rocky coastline.
Grafarholt, Reykjavik
The reconstruction of Iceland’s oldest course, Grafarholt, is a huge task because of the rocky ground conditions. It is
taking time, but plans are moving forward that will see Iceland’s “Old Course” sympathetically reworked.
