110 The interest in the Exportation Academy has pleased us Seda Kaya Ösen, the Chairman of BASIFED, gave a speech on the first day of the Exportation Academy Training Program and highlighted the importance of contribution provided through the project launched for equipping the SMEs with necessary exportation tools. The Chairman Ösen noted that overcoming the current economic problems would be possible through production and exportation and added: “Exportation is one of the primary tools of economic development. First lecture from Jak Galiko The first lecture of the Exportation Academy was from Jak Galiko who is one of the doyen figures of Turkey’s exportation and one of the Former Chairmen of the Aegean Leather and Leather Goods Exporters’ Association. Mr. Galiko underlined that exportation has become an essential line of business for the companies and added: “If a company wants to be an exporter, not only the owner but also all personnel should commit to this mission. All members of the company must act with the awareness about exportation. Furthermore, the exporting companies must have sustainable production quality. Otherwise, even if you receive an export order, you might not pass the post-delivery quality control tests after producing the order and you might end up losing money although you expect to earn money”. ğiyle İhracat Akademisi Eğitim Programı’nı hayata geçirdik. Firmadaki herkesin ihracat bilinci ile hareket etmesi zorunlu. Ayrıca, ihracatçı firmaların sürdürülebilir üretim kalitesi olmalı. Aksi takdirde ihracat siparişi alsanız bile bu siparişi ürettikten sonra teslim sırasında kalite kontrol testlerinden geçemediğiniz takdirde para kazanacağız beklentisi ile girdiğiniz işten zararla çıkabilirsiniz,” dedi.
