4 – What suggestions do you have to attract<br />
more newcomers and new graduates?<br />
First we should inform them about the existence<br />
of our organization <strong>Mohandes</strong>. Most new comers<br />
and new graduates do not know about us.<br />
For new comers we need to let them know about<br />
Mohndes and invite them to our meetings, seminars<br />
and committees with ads in local newspapers<br />
and Social Medias. Last BOD started to<br />
create <strong>Mohandes</strong> Ambassadors in different universities<br />
which was a very creative and a good<br />
way of introducing Mohndes to them. Different<br />
committees should have technical and educational<br />
seminars for their members.<br />
2nd we should address their needs to introduce<br />
them to the professional working culture of Canadian<br />
Industry by workshops, seminars and<br />
other means. We should help them to span their<br />
networking and their contacts which are very effective<br />
tools for them to find jobs.<br />
For them to see the actual working environment<br />
of industrial works in Canada, we should organize<br />
trips by different tours to factories and industrial<br />
shops. At the same time we should help<br />
them in their social life by organizing different<br />
social life, sports and recreational activities.<br />
The above more or less is now practicing in<br />
Mohndes and their committees but I think we<br />
need more work to be done.<br />
At the end with many thanks for the hard work<br />
of our BOD, I wish more success for Mohndes in<br />
the years ahead.<br />
