Responsibilities<br />
and Plan<br />
Any financial matter related to MOHANDES<br />
is governed by the Financial Committee headed<br />
by the Treasurer of the BOD. Except of establishing<br />
of guidelines and procedures according<br />
to the BOD decisions, the committee<br />
manages the following day to day financial<br />
affairs and responsibilities:<br />
MOHANDES Banking Activities:<br />
1- Collecting Money:<br />
a) Membership fees<br />
b) Events Tickets Sale<br />
c) Workshops (From Third party Income)<br />
d) Sponsorship (<strong>Magazine</strong>, Event and seminar)<br />
2- Debts Payment:<br />
a) Bills: Phone, P.O. box, Domain and Webhosting<br />
b) Expenses: stationary and refreshments<br />
c) Event and Monthly seminar expenses<br />
d) Other expenses<br />
MOHANDES Membership Income –<br />
Contacting and Collecting:<br />
1) New member: membership fee<br />
2) Current member: renewal fee<br />
3) Due members: Activation and renewal fee<br />
Budgeting Plan:<br />
1) Budgeting and financing for each event<br />
and workshop<br />
2) Reviewing other committees plans and activities<br />
that will be designed to increase and<br />
bring new members.<br />
3) Budgeting for Contractors (Web, <strong>Magazine</strong>…)<br />
Monitoring Other Committee’s Financial Activities:<br />
1) Income generated from new members<br />
2) Necessity of spending per projects by considering<br />
risk management<br />
3) Proposing new projects to increase Income<br />
Membership Committee<br />
Plans and Goals<br />
1) Ensure that MOHANDES provides high-quality services to its members<br />
2) Align new membership recruitment strategies with the overall goals of MOHANDES<br />
3) Increase membership retention and membership recruitment<br />
4) Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment and retention activities<br />
5) Increase the effectiveness of the membership data base to render more comprehensive data<br />
to better inform retention and recruitment strategies<br />
Terms of Reference<br />
1) Monitor and evaluate trends in membership<br />
2) Evaluate members’ satisfaction with MOHANDES services<br />
3) Provide recommendations to the MOHANDES Board of Directors as to how best to serve the<br />
membership<br />
4) Assist other MOHANDES committees as needed regarding providing up-to-date membership<br />
information<br />
5) Identify target groups who would benefit by joining MOHANDES and run membership<br />
campaigns to encourage them to join<br />
6) Facilitate memberships for prospect members by removing available barriers<br />
