Architect group BIG in Toronto
Due to the presence of the BIG Architectural
Design Company in Toronto with the UN-
ZIPPED WALL Global Show Tour, I will describe
the activities of them:
project’s architect, it has been attempted to create
an unusual space out of common element.
The fluid space through the rhythmic layout of
the elements as well as creating unexpected of
empty and solid spaces is one
of the features of the project.
The project, launched last
month in western King west
street at the heart of Toronto,
and it is open for the public
till the end of November.
2- PEAKS AND VALLEYS
project:
The BIG (BJARK INGELS
GROUP) has been created
by its well-known architect,
BJARK INGELS.
The company has so far
contributed to many
projects and architecture
competitions.
1- The UNZIPPED
WALL project:
The project, which is
part of SERPENTIN PA-
VILION, is being built in
2016 in London. The project has been constructed
with an approximate length of 27 meters
out of 1,800 fiber glass boxes. According to the
The proposed project for the
city of Toronto is very similar
to the HABITAT 67 project of
the MOSHE SAFDIE, which
has been formed from modular
boxes. The project’s architect proposed
the project with inspiration from the work of
SAFDI and called it the HABITAT 20.
