As a not-for-profit healthcare organization,<br />

Saint Francis Health System has been guided<br />

healthcare services.<br />

Licensed for 918 beds, Saint Francis<br />

Hospital is widely known for its advanced<br />

technology and its excellent physicians. For<br />

several consecutive years, the hospital has<br />

been the recipient of National Research<br />

Corporation’s Consumer Choice Award. Saint<br />

Francis has been named a Top 100 hospital by<br />

Solucient and listed among “America’s Best<br />

Hospitals” by U.S. News and World Report.<br />

Laureate Psychiatric Clinic and Hospital<br />

offers mental-health service to individuals and<br />

families and has an internationally recognized<br />

eating disorder program. Saint Ann’s at<br />

Laureate Senior Diagnostic Center provides<br />

assessment and treatment of older adults<br />

needing mental heathcare.<br />

The Children’s Hospital at Saint Francis<br />

provides medical care to children in a childfriendly<br />

environment and includes 126 beds<br />

and a staff of 95 pediatricians and 45 pediatric<br />

sub-specialists. The hospital’s pediatric<br />

hematology-oncology clinic, the only such<br />

facility in eastern Oklahoma, treats more than<br />

seven hundred children each year. In 2004, it<br />

became a member of The Children’s Miracle<br />

Network, a nonprofit organization dedicated<br />

to helping children by raising funds for<br />

children’s hospitals nationwide.<br />

Early in 2005, Saint Francis Health<br />

System announced plans to construct a new<br />

155,000-square-foot Children’s Hospital, to<br />

be located on the northeast side of<br />

the hospital campus at Sixty-first and Yale.<br />

The project includes additional space<br />

for medical/surgical inpatient stays and a<br />

pediatric intensive care services. Child and<br />

family-friendly rooms will be coupled with<br />

parent education opportunities and a Child<br />

Life staff will help children become more at<br />

ease during their hospital stay.<br />

Patients of the Natalie Warren Bryant<br />

Cancer Center have access to comprehensive<br />

cancer services, including a pediatric<br />

oncology/hematology clinic, blood and<br />

marrow transplantation program, specialized<br />

services provided by the inpatient adult<br />

medical oncology unit, and the most advanced<br />

radiation treatments, such as Intensity<br />

Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT). The<br />

Saint Francis Breast Center was relocated to the<br />

new Natalie Medical Building in early 2005,<br />

where diagnostic services were expanded to<br />

include breast MRI, genetic testing, bone<br />

densitometry and further support and<br />

assistance to breast cancer patients.<br />

The Natalie Medical Building also houses the<br />

Saint Francis Surgery Center, which provides<br />

the most advanced minimally invasive surgical<br />

procedures available. It includes eight operating<br />

rooms equipped with voice activation, image<br />

management solutions and state-of-the-art<br />

surgical equipment. A post anesthesia recovery<br />

unit, eighteen rooms for outpatient admitting<br />

and discharge, six pain management assessment<br />

rooms and two pain management procedural<br />

suites with cutting-edge fluoroscopy equipment<br />

are also included at the Surgery Center.<br />

latest in diagnostic radiology, Nuclear Medicine,
